  • Ricardo Guedes

  • Born 1978 in Porto, Ricardo Guedes is a Portuguese architect and founder of ARG Studio. Holds an Architectural degree from Universidade Lusíada do Porto, and currently Masters in Urban Planning in the Faculties of Architecture and of Engineering of Porto. During his academic development, he attended the Brandenburgische Technische Universität in Cottbus (Germany) and had been a national contact of EASA (European Architecture Students Assembly).
    Throughout his professional background, he collaborated with international offices in Portugal, Norway, and the Netherlands, including the Pritzker Prize laureate Rem Koolhaas office OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture), and also been a Partner/co-Director of former Oslo and Porto architecture practice, ONOFFICE.
    His professional experience includes being responsible and involved in a wide set or architectural projects and multiple phases, in various locations from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Angola, Norway, USA, Italy, Russia, among others.
